Convict Conditioning

Books condemned unit 1 and 2, Paul "Coach" Wade, argue that the human body's own gym, and even training schedule progression, detailed explanations and diagrams of exercises and information about the "old school" gym / body weight of the power mad. I worked through the progression and personal learning from a book for students in my boxing, MMA and karate classes. I can say that the progression of the real deal. The body is built to run, jump, climb, push, and pull it off - all these are survival skills. Convict device teaches them to your training progression. Basically, weight unit is the way to go for optimal athletic performance. From simple wall pushups on one armed pushups and pull ups remedial, basic ab work on hanging leg raises, and many other types of exercise. All in all, I think that a lot of these exercises are similar to what is taught in many martial arts and karate classes, especially the pushups and squats, leg lifts in.

The author also argues against what he calls a modern fitness scam. We put on various weight machines isolate muscles, or work on the bench and told to work on curling or pressing really heavy amounts of weight, or lifting free weights is very easy for a lot of repetition. Of course, we see some results, but did not suspect a serious effect exhibited by the world's Bench Pressers. Although, on the other hand, the body is not meant to handle those types of loads - the joints and tendons do not, of course, deal with them. Also, machinery, heavy benching and light free weights to do very little to overall health or overall functional strength, particularly in relation to body weight.

Prison inmates will not always have access to any type of equipment. Thus, the device name of the convict - the authors lay out a progression of training a lot of things that inmates practice when turned off. The argument is not a prison lifestyle is something to be sought after, but that the human body's own gym. All you need to, up the wall, just over a chair, a tennis ball, a medicine ball or basketball.

Damn device also contains a history of exercise and an old school dictator, as well as details of the heating, additional exercises, workout routines, from beginner to very advanced, and more. The second book goes beyond the basics, and includes such things as training progressions for the neck, forearms and calves, and how to train your joints.

The whole body, functional strength training that exposes Paul Wade is very useful for sports performance in general and especially for martial arts. Particularly recommend his books to everyone enrolled in self defense, taekwondo and kungfu and karate classes, or similar styles.
